A “fracture” is intended as the pathological condition in which a bone continuum solution is created (i.e. “the bone breaks”). Fractures can be caused by trauma or as a consequence of a more or less serious illness…

Orthopedic Infections

These are pathologies caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites. Many of these can normally live in the human body without being dangerous, but in some conditions can cause infections…

Regenerative Medicine

Regenerative medicine aims to develop new therapies that can replace, repair or promote tissue regeneration when the natural repair processes of the body do not work efficiently…

“I always knew what I wanted to be when I grew up…”

A passion for medicine has accompanied Dr. Franceschini since he was very young, and thus he chose to be an orthopedist, following his passion with determination.

He started along the long path by obtaining a degree with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the Università degli Studi di Milano and specializing with honors in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the same university.

He continued his training at prestigious centers of excellence around the world: from the Endoklinik in Hamburg (clinic specialized in prosthetic surgery and the cure of periprosthetic infections), to the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and the Mayo Clinic of Rochester (MN), the two main orthopedic centers in the United States.
